Japanese Glass | Kayoko Goto
Kayoko Goto is fascinated by transparent glass and is known for her beautiful clear sculptures, which are made by welding layers of glass together and applying cold working techniques such as engraving and polishing. Goto's pieces have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout Japan and abroad. Museum exhibitions include the Hakone Open-Air museum (1990) and the Smalands Museum, Sweeden (1997). She held a private exhibition in the Wacoal Ginza Gallery, Tokyo (2007). Goto is a member of the Japanese Glass Arts Association.
